...doesnt morning wait for the sun to rise, like a birthday waits for a big surprise...

my friend just left on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

his name is steven.

guess where he got called...?!

UTAH! St. George mission, english speaking.

COOOOL, right?! i know.
he is going to be the best missionary ever.

and guess what? today is fast sunday. that means only 23 more fast sundays left until he returns home!

i think that's pretty optimistic considering he's only been gone since this last wednesday.

for the next two years elder isbell will be declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ. what's cool to me is that he knows that this church is TRUE! he must. i mean... if he didn't.. would he really give two whole years of his life to dedicate to Lord and help spread His gospel across the earth, and more specifically st. george, utah?

 i don't think so.

it's weird to think that boys my age are going on missions. i remember being a little girl and thinking the the missionaries were so smart, cool, and basically God-like in their knowledge of the gospel.

well.. the are just guys! TEENAGERS for heavens sake! yet they ARE so smart and more importantly... worthy! worthy to serve mission's and act as a spokesperson for God.

seeing as it's fast sunday... i would like to share my testimony of Jesus Christ.

i know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church.

i know that God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost exist.

i know that through prayer we can connect with God and get to know Him on a personal level.

i know that Christ came to this earth and died for us.

- He bled from every pore on His body, and could feel every single pain that we feel. We should try to be the absolute best that we can be, because we never can know how many drops of blood we are responsible for. -

i know that if we are doing the absolute best that we can,

 we will be able to return to live with Heavenly Father again.

There is no use saying you choose to lie down when it is impossible to stand up.

The time to choose whether or not we want to and will return to live with our Heavenly Father again is now.

right this very minute.

Heavenly Father is doing absolutely everything in His power to bring us back to Him,

and let me assure you, I have felt that power.

I can not wait until the day when I can stand before my maker, look at the holes in His palms, wrists, and feet, and know, without a doubt, that i have chosen Him.
